I don't know much about these types of coins, but the overall appearance looks real to me. Nice coin.

Quote: It kinda looks too nice.. At first glance, without knowing these coins, the detail, toning, and centering are really perfect. Does the seller offer a guarantee? The best dealers of ancients will offer a lifetime guarantee of authenticity. I wouldn't buy a coin like this without an airtight guarantee, knowing something about the seller, and lastly checking the coin against the known databases of fakes: Forum ancient coins fake databaseThe ForgeryNetwork databaseCheck out these databases--I'll take a quick look too.

Update: The coin in question is a fake, probably with fake dies. documented here.I have pointed out some small matching details. But, outside of some toning and flan differences, everything basically matches on these two--there is no question.
