Grease filled struck through error. If it was polished the rims would suffer. I don't see that on your coin.

When I die gets grease, oil, water, debris, wire, nylon thread or whatever else in the die and the planchet, the devices suffer from the item struck through. This blockage prevents devices from forming or making an outline of what it was struck through. Hope this helps. On your coin the missing letters were block through grease in the way.

gotcha, I was confusing die clash with struck through.
