Hello All,
I'm a huge fan of the french coins featuring the sower, and I'm trying to piece together the 1898-1920 1 franc run. I have the elusive 1900 franc, but can't track down any 1903 or 1914-c francs. Does anybody have any good leads as to where I could locate these little buggers? Thanks!

Mark

I have a 1914 >:). I collect silver coins from the WWI Era (1900-1920).

Wow, a 1914C? You're a lucky one... I've been keeping my eyes peeled, but haven't come across any...

I haven't seen a 1914-C 1 Franc come up for sale in quite a while. Be prepared to put down serious money for that date (in my world, that translates as many hundreds of dollars). The 1903 is not so tough to find, but will again get pricey for good condition.

The 1914C although hard to find seems to exist only at high grades.
That doesn't make it cheaper though
You should look with French dealers. cgb for instance had it offered this year in one of their mail bid auctions.
