I find that the gatewest and albern coin have the same on line store except the the different location. Do they belong to one boss?

Interesting, they are definitely using the same online store engine. I suppose they could be owned by the same person, but I'd think that either they both bought some off-the-shelf software, or one of them developed it in house and sold it to the other. Probably the former. I work in IT, and getting a custom storefront developed for you wouldn't be that cheap.

Very interesting. Both Albern and Gatewest are RCM's authorized dealers. If they are owned by one boss, maybe they are the largest coin dealer in Canada? Is my guess correct? Or J&M or Colonial is the largest one in Canada?

Both sites list the same out of stock items, same specials etc. Likely just 1 site sitting behind 2 names.

Gatewest purchased Albern coins from the Watson family years ago and yes volume wise I am sure that Ian is running the largest coin and bullion business in Canada. Also is paying very fair prices for scrap coin and bullion.
