Jim, when I am on the computer looking at coins and/or this forum, my wife tells friends that I am on the computer looking at coinography (as opposed to well you know)!
Wow!! I thought it was just me. My wife tells me I spend too much time on the computer looking for coins. Usually I'll agree and turn off the computer. Then I'll go to the bank and get $20.00 worth of rolls of Jefferson nickels and spread them out on the coffee table and search through them all night
I usually go to the site for a few minutes here and a few minutes there. My wife doesn't really mind, but I think looking for a few minutes here and there is less likely to cause trouble (in my case) than disappearing to the computer room for an hour or 2.
I only have dial-up and I'm sure my wife conspires with her friends to call her on the phone of an evening just when I'm ready for a bit of coin therapy. Colin, can I borrow your 'quoinography', it might raise a few eyebrows out here:-) regards,
So thats what its called!!! Coinography really is a great word for all of us who are addicted to the beauty of coins in the buff!!! The perfect word!!!
