These used to be found in dealer junk boxes years ago, which is where this came from. It appears to be silver, very thin, about the size of a US nickel, and weighs 2.8 grams. I would like to know where it is from and what time period. I'm sure it doesn't have much value.

It's mediaeval Islamic, I believe from the Artuqid dynasty of Mardin, circa 1230 AD. Very similar to the one in this old thread.
