As you know I have been following Mark Antony Legion coins, looking for a V, X, XII or XV in good condition. All these show the legion number on the reverse.
My question is: Is there any other Roman coins that actually have the number of the legion on them? I know that later coins have standards on the back, but don't seem to have a number. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Some Gallienus coins do, including some zoo coins.

Some of the Viminacium and Dacia Provincial ones do (though not many of them), the numbers are show, if not always clearly on the standards Moesia holds - I'm somewhat obsessed with them at the minute

Legions IIII, VII and XIII all feature:

Excellent Gil-Galad! Great history lesson! I am collecting Gallienus Zoo reverses and now have a good reason to collect more!
As well to you Doug! I'll have to do some home work!
Nice coins as well Bobby. Again, a little research is in order!
