So, as the cents will be coming to an end tomorrow, why not get your cameras out for your dollars. Ideas: just silver (.800) dollars, all the voyageur dollars (.800 and nickel) or all the dollars (voyageur and loonie 1935-2012). Choose which one sounds the best. It will start Sunday, May 6th. Thank you all for your participation in the cents thread :)

Just do silver for now.it's easy enough for to start nickel and loon dollars later.Doing them in smaller bites will promote more future discussion and make for a more compact and specific reference when future members of this site search for "silver dollars".

Quote: 1935 to 1967 ONLY... 80% silver ONLY, these are the ONLY real collectors coins I beg to differ. You will not find a more challenging series to collect grade rarities (choice BU MS-65 or better), as you will with the business strike nickel voyager dollars, 1968 to 1986. http://www.pcgs.com/SetRegistry/all...aspx?s=82059Money is not the limiting factor in completing a series like this, finding the coins are... Helmut, you know better than to say crap like that... especially with you flag-waving the 1985 New Zealand mule recently...

@SPP-Ottawa: Thanks for the info. I actually have a few of those issues lying around somewhere, courtesy of my grandpa. They're in pretty good shape too, so pretty cool considering I thought they weren't worth anything.
