Here is a 1996 D that I picked up from the shop. Please grade.

Are you posting to see if anyone catches the "D" in the ear area?

Good eye fioti!
Well, I must say, that sure does look like a D doesn't it?
Is is most likely a die chip but an interesting one at that.
I would hang onto this one, it might become a popular coin someday, never caught one like this before.
And I think it is MS64 as well.

I was posting it just to find out the grade. Tring to learn more. I did not see the "D" behind the ear. But now that you mention it; here is a close-up:)

Die clip huh! Interesting!
Do die clips increase value?

Interesting coin. It doesn't look like a die chip to me. It is unlike any other I have seen if it is.
Definitely a keeper and possible future rarity. Maybe it will be called the '1996 D ear ring' variety.
