Yep... A little weak on the obverse rim and way to many 'pits' under the belly on the reverse. Otherwise, it has a neat looking color and looks to be well struck on the reverse.

Close to mint state in terms of wear, but as noted there is pitting on the reverse that looks like corrosion, a.k.a. environmental damage. The toning also looks like what can happen to nickels when they are improperly stored.

Quite a few Type 1 1913 Buffalos were saved and they are readily available in mint state. A certified MS-65 can be had for under $200. Your coin with AU detail and surface problems should cost much less. Were you aware of the reverse pitting, and if so did your cost take that into account? If you did not expect a "problem" coin perhaps you should see if you can return it.
