I just thought this was a very cool coin and decided to share. Sorry if this a normal one you have all seen. Why can't we have some coins OR commem's like this? The detail is amazing.

Belarus is doing really cool things with coins these days. They must have some dedicated people in their mint.

tights, it is great. I also spend too much time bird watching. I need one more sedentary hobby. Do you know which owl it is supposed to be?

I have some coins from Belarus that are beyond exceptional! A few years back it was quite a challenge getting their coins on the world market so I had to locate a collector or two to get them for me to ship to the U.S. Some of their designs are amazing and very very detailed. It is not unusual to see them winning, in one catagory or another, each year when the Coin of the Year Awards are given. I try to target a few of the winners every year as it makes for some very rewarding international coins full of history and beauty.
