Upgraded my 42 50c piece with this one. Bought it as much for the Die Cracks as the grade. Early stage but are noticeable.

Spectacular $2 Nfld Coin thedollarman. 200 Cents equals 100 pence. Very cool coin. Great King George VI Nickels there ApitrixNice one JimmyD, really nice die cracks all over that obverse legend. That one may deserve its own topic in the varieties section. Excellent purchases all.

Thanks SilverDon. You always appreciate what others purchase even though you don't take a backseat to anyone in this area.

Recent purchases, just came in: 1963 PL 25c with a nice heavy cameo: 1960 clipped penny in MS: 1959 10c in MS. I'm thinking MS63/64. A cameo too:

Nice pick ups Paulsz. Especially like that 1963 PL Quarter. Totally cool Blakesley effect on that clipped penny. The dime looks like it has a ghost of the queen on the reverse. Could be the light/luster. Some Flea Market Pick Ups New 1971 SD Toner 1952 Franklin Half 1972 PL Set 1964 Kennedy Half 1967 Dime

I just picked up a small date 1858 nickel today. I had bought the large date 1858 a few months ago, which was kind of odd for me as I almost always buy cheapest first/expensive last.
Anyways, this cuts my silver nickel want list down to five (six if I include the 1921).

Quote: ....please feel free to post pics of your 5 cent pieces I wish I could. I used to scan coins on my printer but I had to get a new computer last year and I can no longer transfer data/pics from my printer to computer. I think I have to find the software that came with the printer and load it into my new computer. I also picked up an 1884 Far-4 nickel Monday night on ebay. Both the near-4 and far-4 nickels were online from the same seller and I was hoping to snag both, but I had trouble. The first to 'time-out' was the near-4. The bid level was just over $50 with one minute to go, and I had typed in $105 for my bid; thinking it was a sure win. However, when I clicked on 'bid now' with 10-seconds left, all my computer did was give me the "eternal circling arrow" (in other words it 'locked-up'). I cussed to myself and quickly re-booted the computer because the 1884 far-4 was ending in less than three minutes. I was able to log back into ebay with 30-seconds left on the other coin, and made my bid a little quicker. I did managed to win it; the second highest bid was $100 even. I then checked back to the 1884 near-4 and saw that it sold for around $55. I'm pretty sure I would have won if my computer hadn't died when it did. Another seller had the near-4 1884 nickel up for bid last night but I was outbid on that one. So I just won the one coin, which now cuts my silver nickel want-list down to 4(5).
