I used to love finding them when I lived up north. Had a nice little set going back then.

Just added this one to my collection.

And to my surprise it's a 7/7.

I would also suggest you use a loupe and take a look at the base and top of the one and the top of the eight also.

Nice find 1960NYGiants

Great pick-ups, Don. I never thought that you could get Canadian scrap silver down there in Kiwi Land. The 1904's sometimes have doubling on the C and the 4. I can't tell from the images, but the silver is nice.

1936 Canada Dollar
XF40 ICCS

Post-Your-Most-Recent-Canadian-Coin-Purchases!

This image will update when I get the coin in hand. The listing images were worse than this.
I bought it because I have a collection of Canadian Dollars, perhaps this is my 8th different pre 1968 type dollar. I think I have all the older 80% silver dollars from 1949 on up. Then I have some of the neater .500 silver in boxes and clamshell cases and some more modern silver not intended for circulation.

Loonie, This happened recently in another thread. I store images in a CCF album and I guess sometimes the Members Photo Galleries have either slow loading problems or a glitch. It's probably there this morning for you although I did nothing to fix it.

Here's the album http://www.coincommunity.org/galler...p?album=1272
