Quote: I waited quite a while to get this one! Quote: Always thought the 1858 series was just absurdly undervalued... Picked this one up last month. Lovely examples!

It seems like forever since I've purchased a coin. This one was acquired at the Collectorama coin show, which is held 3 - 4 times a year in Lakeland, Florida. Canadian coins are hit and miss at this small show but once in a while I am pleasantly surprised. Anyhow, this was intended to be an upgrade but instead I inadvertantly made a minor cherrypick - 1903-H H/H five cents, nicely toned. Looks like it would grade as AU - maybe AU58. The jewels in the crown are all there.

Just won these 1937 notes. The one on the right seems the nicest.

I quite wish I had taken a picture of it before I sent it off but I was able to cherry-pick a 1913 10 cent broad leaves from a dealer bin. It was VF condition but has not a small amount of debris and so was sent in for resto at PCGS. Consider this a placeholder for the coin when I get it back in 2-3 months!
