Love that '52 dollar!

Just bought the coloured and non-colour Tecumseh quarters. Should be arriving next week.

Nice pickup Silverbug! I like that series of specimen sets. The toonies often sell for the price of the complete set.

Nice Sets silverbug, check your 2010 set to see if the dime is a mule. (They sell for big money)

thanks canuck1us & Canadian-Banknotes.

I haven't paid attention to dime yet, will have a close look at it tonight.

I found this series to be the most collectable among yearly sets, 15,000 mintage and nice theme makes them very attractive. I'm surprised that they are the same price as the special loonie set but half the mintage

Was in one of my favorite shops for finding pure randomness. Asked the owner if he had any Canadian, mainly because I wanted to fill some Small cent holes(not too easy here in the US). He went to the back and unfortunately had no Small cents. He brought up some old Silver Quarters which I could not afford at the time, and 3 other cardboard danscos. I opened up the 1922 to date and asked how much he wanted for it. Luckily I had $10 on me, which is what he wanted.
The set is complete. 22-60 with the 25 in vf20, 26 far 6 in vf20. The only thing that I didnt find in the book, and has no spot is the 47 dot. I was shocked, I'll have pics shortly(At work).

CGcoins

You bought a whole book of nickels for $10.... With 2 rare ones in it? Holy....
The best I did was snag a War Nickel with silver in it for free. The dealer had no clue it was silver. Lol.

Yeah, The entire book for $10. Have it sitting next to me at work because I'm still in disbelief.
I was working on the Nickel set, but now its basically complete. Dunno if I want to keep it, or sell/trade it off for Something else for my collection. I guess I could slowly upgrade if I want

My latest auction purchase. It does have a few flaws but I thought it looked nice enough to buy anyways.
