I just bought the coppers. Someone else murdered the silver.

@CC-Ottawa: Did those come from one of our local coin shops? I remember them selling PL sets for $25 each. Bought a 1965 set last month.

1911 25c PCGS MS64 - Lots of nice luster or lustre as you would say it north of the border.... Edited for a typo.

Nice coins, EVR, all four of them! My 1907H cent (shown on Page 67) finally arrived; never realized that brown luster could be so beautiful... I should get some high MS browns

hi, I know this isn't in line with the purpose of the topic but it is an ongoing canadian coin topic and I was wondering if anybody knows if the 1972 50 cent missing 'A' variety is particularly rare or has any sort of premium over the regular strike?

From the FUN show. Traded 4 duplicates and $300 of U. S. fiat toilet paper for this one. I like the originality.

Thanks for the compliment. Yes, the fiat was Premium Paper Quality LOL.
I first saw this coin at the Winter FUN show in 2013 and then again at the local show in Sarasota this past fall. The seller made me a trade/cash offer then but I had to think about it. Fortunately it was still available when this year's FUN rolled around and his original offer was still valid. It was the only PCGS certified Victorian fifty cents that I saw at the entire show.
Now what to do with my VF30 piece, now that I've upgraded to this? There doesn't seem to be a market for Victorian fifty cents at the moment, judging from the time that my recent purchase spent on the market....
