Just picked this up yesterday. 1967 Specimen Set with $20.00 gold coin. Was waiting for one to come along that wasn't way overpriced and got this of off kijiji for $750.00 CDN with no tax or shipping.   Edited by JimmyD

 The bullion value alone for the gold coin is about $600.00 CDN and the silver bullion is about $20.00. This does not include any numismatic value for the Specimen Quality coins. Maybe someone didn't know what they had. |

Here is the listing... I'm still kicking myself each time I look... I love the '67 gold pieces they're a great design and for bullion price.. it's a win win! 231545439182Looks like the listing was properly described to get bidders.. I think the only issue was the time it ended.. I think it was like at a Friday at 4 p.m. which wouldn't be a high traffic time... *shrugs*... never the less someone got a VERY good deal.. |

Don't know how I missed that listing. That $550.00 was the BIN price. The original starting bid was $385.00. No wonder someone grabbed it at BIN before any bidding started. Some ebay listings are as high as $1300.00. Oh well, happy with the set I got for $750.00. |

Got this lot for $5.90, has 3 silver quarters in it. The only one I needed was the 1883H but it is in really rough shape.  |

Thanks wolfman! One is a 1943 and the other is a 1961. I cleaned up the 43' a little bit since it was really dirty and am going to give them both to a friend who just started getting into collecting but doesn't have too many silver coins yet.
