I have noted that most of the 1972 plain LMCs I've found so far are misaligned dies. Is this usual to this series? And if so, anyone have any idea why there might have been so many MADs that year?

I see lots of 72's but haven't noticed an abundance of MAD's...maybe you're just lucky

Okay, thanks!

And sorry, I don't have any pictures yet. And I probably won't have that many since I didn't think about saving the 1972 MAD's I've found. I have one, but I dumped the others...
