1971 S Eisenhower Dollar-Possibly New Doubled Die Reverse / DDR ?

chuckster 125 Pillar of the Community United States 4113 Posts	Posted 05/12/2012 1:39 pm I purchased this PCGS MS66 Ike last week. In looking at it closer, I noticed notching on some of the letters ( F and all of the letters in AMERICA, plus some stars, the 2 LL's in dollar, one of the islands and the end of the olive branch. I sent a batch of pics to Dr Wiles (CONECA) for his review/expertise. Meanwhile, here are some pics of the doubling. I can't match this to any CONECA file and the closest to it is from John Wexler's book Ath Ref on Eisenhower dollars, Second Edition - Pg 78 for 71S DDO-001 and PG 128- DDR002. Opinions welcomed. Stars/ ICA Same. 2 LL's in Dollar Bottom Island End of Olive Branch Star. Report this Post to the Staff

He is doing Ike attributions for ANACS and he's highly capable of recognizing your DDR. Report this Post to the Staff
