I just got this medal in a jewelry lot and was hoping someone could give me more information about it--like what agency would have issued it, what company made it, what material it's made of, etc. There are no other markings other than seen in the photos. Thanks for your help!

I've seen similar, from that era, and they were one-offs, made by a jeweller.
I suspect that there was a stock of generic fobs, capable of adaptation to most occasions.

Thanks so much, Peter........I was beginning to wonder if anyone would respond! Thanks for the info.--that makes sense with no company name or other info. that a jeweler probably did make this. Of the ones you've seen, do you remember if they were for sale and if so, a ball- park asking price?
