Probably Grease Filled Die in that part of the V.

I have seen this exact thing on some of the nickels I went through last week. It is so confusing because it does not look like your typical grease filled.

I did a search but didn't find any others that may look like this before I posted. Hmmm. Strange, its like the v shrunk and the E stretched.
