Turkish 6 Piastres, AH 1223 (AD1808)
These coins were of low quality silver, and I think that the date was frozen.

They are occasionally found pierced, and as such, were used as an adornment, often in the form of a headband with several of them strung together, and occasionally dished, as this one is.

The regnal year on your "bowl" is 30, so the coin started its life in about 1837.

Thanks svslav, I had spotted the regnal year, but at the time I was fairly sure that this was just another, albeit more elaborate, fake "dancer" coin.
