well I would say the price is about right for them. With them all at a solid G, it would be around $4200. If you're just looking for the hole fillers this might be a good deal.

Most of them look like they've clearly been cleaned, so me personally, I would rather buy them individually and go for ones with more of an original look. (read not so obvious cleaning)

Not sure what your goal here would be. But again, to populate a date/MM set... I think this is a good deal.

Though the 72, 74, 76, and 78 look more on the AG side. Which is 3 of the more expensive coins.

Translation: Most if not all of these have been cleaned in the past.

Overall, a fair price. Considering this would fill 7 holes in your collection and even though seller's pics not the greatest, I think the 75 would be an upgrade to yours. Not sure on the 77. Sellers 76 seems to have scratches across Lady Liberty. Figure what you would pay and make him an offer. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. And you do have 14 day return privilege.

Not a bad deal. I see nothing there that would disuade me from making that purchase...aside from the fact that I dont have that amount of money to spend. LOL

I thinks that's more the seller's CYA. But agree with your overall assessment.

In seeing your set and also witnessing the replacement of worn coins for beautiful examples I would think you will be disappointed with the condition of many of these coins.

Personally, I would pass. I feel the price is a bit higher then the quality of the coins would warrant.

Yeah, the 71 and 73 are absolutely cleaned and the quote jeffrose stated would make me avoid all together ;)
