I sent these two coins in for grading to PCGS? I have my hunch of what they might come out as, what are your guess'? I do not think they are cleaned, but your opinions are appreciated! I will post pictures when I get these gems back from PCGS!

Nice coins. The first one I think is around 60-65 and the second one around 57-62?

mkman123-I was going to do NGC, but my local dealer only does PCGS submissions.
I wish I had better pictures, lol.

Both look to be MS coins and worthy of submission. Higher grade coins need close up pics to determine decent grading guesses and I emphasize guess in my regard. Nice coins

Do you guys think they are cleaned though? I would hate to get them back as only genuine...

Coin_Guy can you get a better/closer picture of at least the IHC and maybe reveal any marks/hairlines that we cant see with the lighting as-is? I dont know much but I'd say its fairly hard to tell if they're cleaned from these pictures.

Too late to worry about that now The IHC appears to be in the XF/AU range and the 2-Cent Piece appears higher AU. I have personally done hundreds of PCGS submissions and can tell you that PCGS can be very tough on ANY coin that does not meet what they deem is acceptable on past "standards" for a particular grade/series, especially key-dates.

with beaglebailey. better to take pictures of coins with no clothes on, anyway. (out of the capsule) Bit of a pity you got your timing reversed. It would have been better if we had been able to comment before you sent it for grading, and had a "us vs the grader" (not the road construction type). That would have been painful for us!

I agree sel_91, I should have taken pictures of my coins naked. I guess when I get them I will know, I will for sure post the results from PCGS.
vermontensium: I agree, PCGS is very picky. I do not like that about them, but then again I guess that is why they are known for their grades. I hate that they under-grade though.
