You are right about RAM's standards being lower. This is one of five problems I had with my delivery from a few weeks ago. I rang the mint today (had an early mark from work) and let them know about the following problems:
> 20 cent 2011 Volunteers mint roll - end of roll was dinged in with possible damage to one or two coins.
> 20 cent 2011 International Women's Day mint roll - badly rolled with end coin hanging half out, definite damage on end coin, possibly more.
> 50 cent 2012 Kokoda Trail card - card corners dinged as it was packed loose within the package and obviously was bumped around in transit.
> 50 cent 2012 proof Queens Diamond Jubilee - coin capsule not secured within presentation box and indications of a lot of movement within box, and possible edge damage to coin.
> and $1 tennis coin quality as per this post.
RAM was very helpful, gave me free postage on next order and free reply post to send back the items for replacements which will undergo a quality inspection. But I opted to hang on to this tennis coin, and buy a replacement one, in the hope the error was rare.
