They are changing hands in the UK for a around the scrap value unless in higher grades.

There are 2 types being the English (lion standing on a crown)and Scotish (lion seated on a crown holding sword and mace).

I have a 1942 Scots shilling listed at £10 uncirculated. Other grades are not listed in my 2012 catalogue, but as a rough rule of thumb, halve it to EF, and halve it again for VF.

What condition is yours in?
