So after spending two and a half weeks in costa rica buying a new vacation home, and gold panning! Yes gold panning!! managed about a gram of costa rican gold! My g/f and I flew into Orlando for a day and a bit. After the typical LV and Gucci shopping we drove down to gainsvilles coins! Nice little shop, in a nice area, with great customer service. Very nice haul, for sure.  So, how did the house shopping go? I hear that it is very nice in Costa Rica. |

No problem bringing them into Canada at all.
House shopping went wonderful!
Came in with a $300k budget, got more than we needed for $150k. The $200 a year property tax was a plus, and well as the fruit trees on the property.
I would highly recommend costa rica for retirement or investment property purchasing.
