Found this LMC. The 1 and 7 are very faint and the last number is missing altogether. Also the L in Liberty is barely there when looking straight on, the I in In and only part of the R,U,S and T in Trust.

Definitely 1974-S. 100% sure, no doubt.

1. This is not a proof coin, so it cannot be 1975-1979. ONLY proof coins were minted in San Francisco those years.
2. The mintmark style on this coin was only used for ONE year on business strike coins. 1974.
3. This is the same style mintmark used through 1979 on proof coins.
4. All 1970-1973S business strike coins had a smaller, less blocky and 'filled-in' mintmark. Easily distinguishable as different.

Thanks! So is there a market for coins with this many devices missing/barely visible? Just not sure what to do with it except hold on to it.

Looks like a Greaser to me. As for a market for it, I don't think so. You may be able to sell it on ebay for less then a buck.
