anyone know the original cost of this 1976 set (actually made in 1974) & how many sets made?
These 3 SILVER STAMPS ARE MARKED:
CANADA POST, 16 GRAMS, 999 FINE SILVER & serial number on all 3 bars is the same
fyi... 16 GRAMS = .51 Troy oz silver
these are actually cool looking just as .51 Troy oz silver bars. picked them up at coin shop for $4 over 1-1/2 oz Spot for set of 3.
No one over on Stamp Forum can give me any info
except one person offered me $20 for 48 Grams of 999 SILVER

Yeah, they are common enough on ebay. I have a couple; got them at bullion value. They are Olympic events depicted stamps. Other than that I don't know the numbers or mintages, but Canada post probably did every Olympic stamp in these silver collectables.

I think they have great eye-appeal. Get the paper versions in nice crisp unc grade and you will have a neat display...
