The premium on the gold bars were fair. They were charging me $52 bucks a gram. No major sort of collectible value really. I just like to collect a few here and there. When I mix up all these little gold bars, they eventually come out to an oz.

Thanks! Glad to know. I have been thinking to pick up some small JM or Engelhard gold bars. They will make a good addition to my JM and Engelhard silver collection. But who would say no to the Suisses at $52, which I believe is only a few cents over spot per gram. Well done!

Congratulation on your purchase.
I'm most impressed w/ the gold coins. What year is that Panda, normal market price command larger premium than other "bullion gold coins". The Buffalo is a collector coin so the premium supposed to be higher than bullion.

Very impressive.

Thanks Silent! I could have invested more, but I'm still waiting on the sidelines (somewhat) with silver which is why I went heavy with gold this week/month. I think silver is still due for more correction/manipulation.

The Panda is a 2012 and he did charge a higher premium ($80 dollars) on top of spot. He wanted to charge me $1700 but I asked him knock off $20 bucks to make it $1680. For the Buffalo, he charged me $1680 (he wanted $1700). I was happy with both purchases as I believe gold will correct just like silver, and then make its next move up! (fingers & toes crossed)
