I had a really bad gold fever that no doctor could cure. I visited the coin show twice (Friday/Saturday) and have established great relationships with the dealers there. I see them all the time from many other shows. All prices below did not go over $32 dollars per ounce of silver. My highest premium were the 2012 sealed Kookaburra's at $35 each. I could have paid around 30 bucks for generic, but it's so...well, generic -(nothing against folks who stack them) - just not my preference. A bit over 100 oz's of silver picked up and 7 oz's of gold today! I'm really happy with my investment!! Thoughts ? Comments ? Am I crazy?!?!? Are you!?!? 10 - 1 oz silver Libertads (never had any!) 3 - 10 oz's sealed Johnson Matthey's (All in consecutive numerical order) 10 - Sealed Canadian Maples 20 - 2012 1oz Silver ASE's fresh from the mint. 20 - 2012 1 oz Sealed Kookaburra's from the Perth Mint. (never opened!!) 1 Kilo JM bar - My first!! 7 oz's of assorted .999 gold which consist of 1 oz Panda (sealed), MS 70 2006 gold buffalo, random 1 oz Gold Maples, 1 oz Perth Mint bar, and assorted 1 gram through 10 gram gold bars (Credit Suisse) Time to lock them up and forget about them! Wow instant 100 oz club plus, an 7 oz. of gold, all in one lick. Crazy, yes sir I am crazy for gold an silver stacked like that, lol! A dream haul for most, well done!!
The J&M kilo bar is one of my favorite pieces. an how can you not love that Buffalo an the other gold, wow pretty sick load of pmz.....
Thirty five is not too bad for nice capsule kooks like that at 700 for a roll. I just paid a wee bit more then that Ben Franklin style for a 20 oz. Engelhard rare old pour, but the guy was askin 1250 so really did not expect them to take my offer. Oh well, only 20 oz. but it all adds up. I know you had been saving an waiting for that show for some time, the way to go when you can indeed find the shows with those per oz. prices.....

First may I say, WHAT A SCORE! Now the question. After the coin show was over, did security walk you to your car?

Thanks for the support & comments ya'll. I really enjoy reading and looking at other PM hoards - stashes & acquisitions. Quote: First may I say, WHAT A SCORE! Now the question. After the coin show was over, did security walk you to your car? Thank you for the note. Actually, yes. The nice police officer DID walk me to my car. This is the first time ever I have asked for that. As we were leaving the show together, I bought her a beverage (Sprite) and we chit-chatted on the way to my car. I thanked her for her time and "protection". Ha!

DOUBLE SCORE! Some guys have all the luck. But all kidding aside, congratulations on your acquisitions.

Sweet! How was the premium like for the fractional gold bars? Do they have a sort of collectible value?

Quote: Amaths: How was the premium like for the fractional gold bars? Do they have a sort of collectible value? The premium on the gold bars were fair. They were charging me $52 bucks a gram. No major sort of collectible value really. I just like to collect a few here and there. When I mix up all these little gold bars, they eventually come out to an oz .

That's more in one buy than the whole value of most people's collections. Wow!
