Team,

Here is another post which I know just annoys most of you guys, please forgive me if it does. But I know there has to be at least one individual whos interested. Anyway, here is my latest. An 1818 Bust Half, O-108 (Common R-1) Pincher 8s. Just another neat variety in the ongoing collection.

Thanks for looking
Ben

That one's in beautiful shape. Can you describe the "Pincher 8's," for the benefit of the membership?

Oh, yeah, and the pics would probably be better if they linked to an 1818 instead of an 1834.

Hmmm, it's working here. Anyway here is a link w/picture. The pincher 8 is just that, look at the top of the 8s in the date. The are incomplete at the top and resemble old time Pinchers which were used by BlackSmiths to take hot metal out of the forge.

Take Care
Ben

Well, I caught that bug from you, and I don't mind.

That link still comes up as an 1834 for me.

Hey Ben - I just have a few Bust type coins, but I love the design. That one has a lot of eye appeal. Keep em coming!

Absolutely beautiful coin Bonedigger. I've got around 4 of them and would love to increase my holdings. That's a problem for me, I'm always wanting to collect EVERYTHING!
