Hey y'all,

This isn't an "advertisement" per se so much as a heads-up. I see a lot of people on here looking for the 1909 V.D.B. Lincoln Cent, and Littleton has it in this month's/quarter's magazine, along with a non-V.D.B. cent (it's a set of two), for $59. I don't know if that's a deal or not, but I've seen comments on the forums about "$700 would just about buy two V.D.Bs" and paying $600+ for a single one, so--HEADS UP!! If those prices are the rule rather than the exception, you might want to check it out.

Those prices are for S-mint VDB's. A Philadelphia VDB is a $30 coin in high Mint State.

Should've seen that one coming ("If it sounds too good," etc.). I'm going to assume sixty bucks is too much on the off-chance that they didn't sort their mints.

Not a chance they didn't sort.

The 1909-S/VDB is the single most famous coin variety, and has been since the year they were minted.

There are no deals at Littleton IMO.
Nice advertising and pamphlet though.

Knowing Littleton, they are most like "good or better". That means you get two good to fine coins for $59....that's way too high.
