I have gotten very lucky and have been finding sterling coins for around $13 each. there are places to buy way under spot you just have to get lucky and ask everyone you see.

I never pick up "numismatic silver bullion" like this but for 32 dollars, it was kind of hard to pass up.

I agree, Trip. Like you, I am not into numismatics but would have bought those at that price. Well done.

I've got a LCS I get to occasionally and they are always spot +$1.25 on Englehard bars. Almost always has 1, 5 and 10 ozers in stock.

buying numismatic silver bullion is the best to flip for profit. if you can get it under spot and sell it on ebay you can than turn the profit into your old pour bars.

After some thought and hearing some of your comments, I decided to give coin shows another try. I am going to find a larger show this time, maybe if there are a few more dealers, I might be able to secure myself a good deal. There is a show coming up in my area which is about 4 to 5 times larger than the last one. I figure I can find more than two dealers selling silver bars.

honestly at my local coin show about a month ago (I posted a thread on here) I paid some premium for my silver, but they are rare and worth more than the value I paid. I spent about $400 on silver for 9 ounces, but I got 3 proofs, 1 of 650 set, and 1 of 3500 set. And then all four canadian wildlife coins so far, then an art bar 1 oz. So honestly you just have to look for spot price "common" silver, then look at silver with premiums, especially if proofs, and see how rare their mintage is and compare with say ebay auctions, but what they actually sold for, not what some sellers are asking (ridiculous buy it now prices)
