It has been a few years, and I have not even SEEN an ATB Quarter. I have searched rolls, pocket change, are they out there? I never had luck getting new coins, still never got 75% of the US territories. Is anyone else having this trouble? Oh well, I guess I will have to buy one at my dealers shop.

They're difficult to come by in the wild, that's for sure. Relatively low mintage numbers compared to the State Quarters and apparently the Fed Reserve has a glut of State Quarters left to burn through, so those numbers aren't likely to go up any time soon. I have only come across one or two myself in Texas. But I don't make many of my purchases with cash these days. Oh, and !

They certainly are not common, but I've gotten quite a few in my change here in Nebraska. I just got a Chickasaw quarter in my change today at lunchtime. First ATB I've seen in a few months. I kept it of course. I have a couple of the Olympic quarters and the 5oz. bullion version too. It's cool to have both sizes for comparison.

I believe that the ATB Quarter relevant to Pennsylvania was the first ATB issued for 2011. So it has been out for awhile now. I've seen very few of this series in circulation. I have been setting aside circulating coins for a circulating set an out of the 12 that have been issued so far I only have 9 of the issued coins but do not have examples from both mints. At the rate that I am finding these coins I should have examples from the current coins by 2015 and then I'll still be behind. Perhaps I should wait until the complete series has been issued for a few years like I did for the Statehood Quarters and I still don't have a circulating set completed for that series yet (including the territories). So I don't think that I complete a circulating set of the ATB's in my lifetime.

The ATB Quarters are certainly hard to come by. I have never seen any 2011 or 2012 quarters in circulation yet. I have a couple 2010's. I don't want to wait so I have been buying a couple of each new issue from a local dealer. This seems to be the only place to find them.

I have been buying a couple rolls of the ATB sets since they came out. I kind of expect to see error coins to start being reported in one or two years and want to be ready for it. (LOL) However, at this time I really don't expect to break up either a roll or a set at this time. I haven't done it for the Wisconsin coin yet but who knows what my kids will do when they get their hands on them.

So, its not just me. If someone has any uncirculated examples, I might buy one or two. Or I'll just go down the road to my dealer. He has them for $0.75 each, proofs $1.75. Pretty good deal! I was waiting, figuring , why spend $0.75 on a quarter, but I tink I will!

I got my first ATB Quarter in change about a week ago, a 2010 Hot Springs. I'm up to four of the six Territory quarters now too. So including varieties, dates, and mints, I'm 31 coins behind now.

Conder101 I am just a far behind as you are (possibly further) when I look at my Statehood and ATB Quarter series. In my circulated Statehood (plus Territories) I am 7 coins behind but I also have no San Francisco mint finds at all and I am not sure of what varieties I am missing. In my circulated ATB set I am already missing 16 (counting mintmarks) plus the certain knowledge that I probably won't be coming accross circulating San Francisco coins for another few years yet. Is there a listing somewhere about what the varieties are for the Statehood Quarters? I know that we are way to early to be concerned about varieties for the ATB series.

TJsCoins: I'm sorry but I have to ask. You've listed ca yellow stones. The only ATB for California is Yosemite. So what is ca yellow stones?

TJsCoins, Would you sell some of those, and if so, how much?

Ghostrider. Thank you for your correction:) I have a Yosemite and a Yellowstone. I need to proof my posts better. HelzelsCoins I am not currently looking to sell. I wish you luck in your search. If it was me I would go to a shop and see if they would put a package deal together for the 2010's, 2011's, and maybe some 2012's. Worst case: they say no. Of course as soon as you purchase the coins you will start to find them in your pocket change. BTW, I think the ATB Quarters look great!

HelzelsCoins: I'm still in my "trial period" (haven't hit 90 days yet), but I live in Arizona and just completed a 2011-12 D set of the ATB for another forum member who was struggling to find that mintmark. When I hit my 90 days we're going to trade, since I don't collect staties/ATB. I work at a gas station and while these (except for Chickasaw, which is common as dirt) aren't exactly lying thick on the ground, I see a fairish few of them. I'd be happy to pull 2010-2012 for you so you're not paying a premium at a coin shop and put them in 2x2s so they don't get damaged on their way to PA. While they're not "uncirculated," only one of the coins I pulled for the 2011-12 set actually has any kind of significant circulation wear (I would have "traded up" like I did with the Chickasaw coin in that set, but I've only seen one of the NM ones so far). Obv. further discussion would need to be in the trade/sell section, but just sayin'--here's an option you have.
