I need to get a clear picture of this coin, but for now I am curious as to a generic value in MS. This is the same DDO from the Cherry Pickers Guide. I bought it as a nice high grade 1939 for my Dansco and found that it was a DDO when I got it home. Unfortunately the Cherry Pickers Guide only assigns a nominal value for it, even in BU. Yet I can't find one being offered or having sold on ebay.

Thanks!

That is because of the nominal value, and difficulty of id'ing it.

The cherrypickers prices are a guide. Known graded, and attributed varieties normally get more.
