Not quite sure what I'm looking at here. Can anyone elaborate? The tops of all of the letters of America seem to be progressively mirrored at a lower and lower orientation.

You are looking at a combination of two very normal things...die deterioration and split copper plating during the strike.

Ah, I knew it had to be something simple. The odds of me stumbling on something I couldn't find anywhere online were just too slim. Thank you very much for your feedback Coppercoins. Tell me what you think of the topic I just posted I'm hoping I just stumbled onto a 1970 WDDO-4, you seem very knowledgeable and I welcome your opinion;
