It's a very nice looking coin. Has nice eye appeal. I would grade this around MS-63 to MS-64.

it has a little dirt on it. beside the volcano. I think it's organic but I'm afraid to remove it. I'm just leaving it as it is. I thought this is AU at least but I think it's more on the side of MS. I dont know how to accurately grade an MS to a hundred year old coin. thanks for your opinion!

This coin grades EF/AU based on the pics ,, scans are really hard on the luster of the coin, but the breast of liberty ,elbow ans knee appear to have wear on them as well as the eagles breast, and wing tips.

Keep an eye on that spot !! if it appears to be getting larger or darker something will have to be done to preserve the coin.

I would be interested in looking at digital photo's of the coin ,, If I could see the luster it may change my opinion from wear to strike anomoly.

the pics really do look dull. the scanner couldnt capture the luster. that's the best I can do. my digi cam is worse. as for the areas where you said there's wear showing, part of it is lost in the scan I think because it's slightly more detailed that what the pics are showing. I think AU would be a safe assessment. XF is either harsh or I'm just really terrible at grading. thanks for the inputs though and yes I will keep an eye on that spot.
