I mean its under the word LIBERTY but the word is not week or messed up or are the other areas that it is affecting. On the back the rock is not messed up but it is around that area. pyrbob Rest in Peace United States 1943 Posts	Posted 05/25/2012 09:19 am Because the highest part of the die is the field. The devises are deeper into the die making them higher than the field on the struck coin. So a light film of lubricant on the die will be across the high flat surface of the die which is the field of the coin. Report this Post to the Staff
