I never pass up the opportunity to pick up a coin lying on the ground or sidewalk or parking lot.....
I know some folks believe it should lay a certain way for good luck, but, I feel it's good luck everytime I find a coin. I've increased my wealth by merely picking it up. That, to me, is good luck.

I would always pick up a coin I saw laying on the ground.
