Hello everyone, I'm new here, I love looking for old coins, I have a coin - details below
I believe that its a Spanish real dated 1850
shield side of coin - .ISABEL 2a POR LA G. DE DIOS
on the other side - Y LA CONST. REINA DE LAS ESPANAS it's a pretty dark coin, just needs cleaning up I suppose, the side of the coin with the shield on it is a bit worn but clear enough to make out the shield and the writing, the other side however is pretty worn in the middle with sort of clearly readable writing around the edge.
pictures to follow.
if you know of this coin, can anyone tell me of it's worth?
Hi, without pictures it's hard to know, besides you have to know that mint is. By the year 1850, I think it's Sevilla. To know that mint is you look at the number of points that are the stars beneath the shield. Sevilla 7 Tips
as you can see these are the images I have taken of the coin, though the star mint thing isn't clear, I can't make out if the star is a 6 point or an 8 point.
