1996 $50 Star Note: Worth Saving? - Coin Community Forum

There's a slight bit of loss just below the Y in FIFTY. I'd enjoy telling family and friends about the time I put a $50 bill up for auction but only if it would be worth the effort. wquinn Pillar of the Community United States 2295 Posts	Posted 05/29/2012 10:17 am The printage is 3.2 million, which is the 2nd highest printage for that series for all branches. There were only 4 branches that printed star notes though. http://www.uspapermoney.info/serials/f1996_l.html Too bad it has quite a bit of wear down the center like that and it looks like someone wrote 450 on the right hand, obverse, so that hurts the value too.
