It looks good to me, but honestly I don't know because its priced like 25% below "FMV"... so I'm a little suspicious. What do you rate it? Feel free to just give me a range if the pic leaves uncertainty. And just fyi there may be a rim nick below the "C" in "CENTS" on the rev (behind the plastic gripper).

It looks great to me, but it can be hard to tell if they're using tricky lighting or photoshop to hide flaws.

The coin is MS-something with a great strike ... all 13 obverse stars are fully developed as well as the typical reverse weak points. Possibly a proof strike ... but I can't tell for sure based on the photos. The poor lighting is casting shadows and colors that most likely do not exist on the coin. Appears this coin is in a newer PCGS edge-view holder ... so you must know the grade ... why not share it and solicit our opinions based on that knowledge? Dsvid

OK, I can provide the grade, but I was asking to see what you guys thought first (sort of to prevent bias).
It is PCGS MS64.

I would think ms64 is fair. What about the price bothers you? Just curious.

Well, I'm just being careful in general since I've only been involved in the hobby for like 3 weeks. I also feel like if he is willing to accept 75% of 'FMV', he would be better off just doing a BIN with Best Offer at a higher ask price. That way he would have the potential to get more than 75% without driving away any potential buyers. Maybe I'm thinking too hard though, lol.
Thanks for the opinions I'm almost definitely going to buy it and when I get it I'll let you know what I think.

Actually its priced normally... there's a big difference in PCGS's suggested price and Numismedia's - around 25%. PCGS price seems high given recent history.

Before the grade was revealed, I was think somewhere along the lines of MS-64 or 65. PCGS's price guide, on average, seems to be high but in some instances it can be low, especially for PQ and rare coins. Just today I was considered buying a 1851 large cent that was graded MS-63 BN. It eventually sold for more than the MS-64 BN PCGS price.

Nice. Excellent strike, not huge but excellent for the type. $150 would be a "Snag It Now" price for me, for this coin.

Before seeing the grade, I was also thinking MS65 with a possible 'poof strike.' The strike looks really great, especially on the reverse. A few corn kernels on the left corn cob would be nice. Either way, an awesome coin!
