Around a month ago, I posted this medallion to another forum for identification:

Talli-Medallion

So far, no replies; but enquiries from three different people asking if it's for sale. I'm sure there has been one on this board in the past, but can't find it.

Same both sides, brass 24 mm 5.0 gr.

Can anyone enlighten me?
Thanks,
Bob

Hi.
This is wedding medallion from India,
Usually given to the Bride as a Fertility Good Luck charm.
TALLI means MOTHER in Teulugu ethnic group of India.

Thank you, I'm familiar with the Telugu word, it also means drunk in Punjabi.

This one however appears to be Tibetan, and is a good luck charm based on Tibetan mythology. There was also a Talli base camp on Everest.
