Color Of Sackies Different From Presidents?

laxmaster92 Member United States 1154 Posts	Posted 02/17/2007 11:25 pm After comparing the color of the President dollars to the color of the Sackies I have noticed a much different color. Am I the only one? The president coins are more of a silver color. I held a Sackie and President dollar in the same light and they looked different. They are supposed to be made from the same Alloy as each other. Right? Is the color difference because of the "wash" the mint is supposed to be using on the new coins? Report this Post to the Staff
