After comparing the color of the President dollars to the color of the Sackies I have noticed a much different color. Am I the only one?
The president coins are more of a silver color. I held a Sackie and President dollar in the same light and they looked different.

They are supposed to be made from the same Alloy as each other. Right?

Is the color difference because of the "wash" the mint is supposed to be using on the new coins?

Although, I thought they would have used the same wash on both dollars.
Rest in Peace

There was no wash on the Sackies. Thats why they turn brown so quickly.

Does anyone know what is the wash/antioxide coating? & How are they (the process) washing/drying the coins?

Thanks,
Ron (ronaldb112)
