Anyone know why the price of $2.5 indians has been going down over the passed year?
Looking at historical trends prices were super high 4-5 years ago, now they have been plummeting.

Is there an influx from Europe?
Is it the increase in population #'s?
Is there just low demand?

What influences demand of a coin beside mintage and POP size?

Thanks for your input.

I believe every series has a fad and a cool off period, so that means if one has the capital then is a good time to stock up.

I think if you like the series then its actually good the price has dropped. This gives you the chance to get them for a cheaper price, remember that no matter what value the coin has, it still has PM value.

But as far as why its probably because of demand. It doesn't matter how low the mintage of a coin is, if there is little demand for it, the price will drop.

I've seen some graded indians for as low as $250+! Not bad me thinks
