Its not a big deal but wanted to share. I've been working on diversifying my stack the past few weeks. Today, I added my first silver bar. Its only an oz but nice to see in the stack. JM bar. @ $36 it wasn't a great deal for just a single oz but cheaper than 90% of the places I have seen for a single oz. Anyways, it was the bar or the maple, and I already have maples, so the bar was nice to add. Because bullion premiums are so high right now on small lots, I've been mostly sticking to Canadian silver coinage. I've managed to pick up about 11oz worth at an average of 14.3xface and coin roll hunting over the last few months. Been very happy with those results, nice to be able to add slowly. Maybe I might be able to get a good deal from one of you guys, that have just picked up monster boxes, down the road. when my recent pick ups come in the mail, I should be just over 11oz junk silver, the 4oz Canadian wildlife series coins mint sealed, 7 silver maples, 1oz koala and 1/2oz gold maple. Thanks for reading. Cheers and happy stacking!

Hey coincollect. Only just over 3 of those junk oz were from roll searching. I just passed the 50 dime milestone not too long ago, but all the other pick ups were bought at a good price, IMHO. :-) I am currently without camera so picks will have to wait, but I will post picks of the stack someday. The wildlife series coins come mint sealed but I believe it needs to be requested by the original purchaser, otherwise they just come in tubes. I've always been a sucker for mint sealed RCM products. So they are out there, just not often. Specify mint sealed during a bay search.... chances are 1 will pop up. :-)

I really like those sealed 1 oz. J@M bars an they can be had for solid prices these days say 32 to 38 bucks or so....
In all reality in my most humble opinion, I feel silver is a MAJOR BARGAIN right now an way under priced, but that is just me. So anytime you can add a solid piece of 1 oz. fine .999 for 40 or less, could be worse the way I see it....

Nice pick up. Since the spot price of silver is so low, I see it as a buying opportunity. Right now JM 1 oz bars are selling for $30.02 at goldmart.com.
