the post title says 2007 magnetic, so I guess it is magnetic. 2007 & 2008 magnetic cents have Millions of them out there, not rare.

I paid $11 for an ICCS MS65 a few months back. For what that's worth (pun intended).

According to my sources those figures are correct. (These are not included in the mint sets)

It would seem the prices people are paying for 2007 non-magnetic cents don't support the relatively high mintage of 9 million circulated coins. From my own experience, I have turned up approximately 500 2007 pennies, all magnetic, meaning I'm long overdue to find one. If the mintage figures are correct, why are people paying a premium for this variety? Also, why I am still defying the odds?

collectall: What's your source on the 9 million figure?
If the source is just Charlton, I don't believe it.
According to a mint employee (this is second hand) and the mint annual reports, no zinc 2007 were produced for circulation.

$200 for a 5 year old coin that has a mintage of over 9 000 000? That doesn't seem right.
The actual mintage must be lower then that, or someone over paid.

I too am searching for the non-magnetic 2007. I have over 100 magnetic from change etc. There should be some non mag. if the mintage #is correct. Always hunting!
