scmoore61 Valued Member United States 487 Posts	Posted 07/13/2012 09:55 am My picture taking isn't the best. I did not see the scratch before sending it in. The only way you can see it is tilting the coin slightly. It does not show in the picture and I know where it is. I generally think of a scratch as something that makes a grove in the coin and detracts from the coin. This is just a thin layer of patina taken off showing a lighter color underneath. I'm not even sure it was there when I sent it in. It is on Abe's coat below the bow tie about 1/16th of an inch long and about a hair width. Report this Post to the Staff
