Here is todays haul for a local coin show. All bought raw

Have fun playing with grades and be sure to check for Varieties.
I would also be interested in any prices you might want to assign to the coins. I am just curious I paid what I consider to be a fair price but some of the dealers seemed to think I was taking food out of their kids mouths.
Sorry about the cotton thread I could not see it until after I took the Pics.

OK..I will take a shot at it...

1864 - VF20 - Maybe cleaned ? I guess you paid apx $25.00

Obverse:
Rather worn on right side denticals
Arrow tips and leaf tips weak
Complete motto is visable but the words IN and WE is weak

Reverse:
I think I see a die crack above STATES
I think I see a die crack under AMERICA

1865 - EF40 - Nice color - I guess you paid apx $45.00

Obverse:
Rather worn on lower left side denticals
Arrow tips and leaf tips weak
Complete motto is visable but the word WE shows trace of wear

1866 - AU50 - Nice color - I guess you paid apx $60.00

Obverse:
Arrow tips and leaf tips show traces of wear
Complete motto is visable and the word WE is Bold

Reverse:
Maybe see small die crack above AMERICA

1868 - F12 - Color seems odd - I guess you paid apx $20.00

Obverse:
Arrow tips and leaf tips show wear
Complete motto is visable but the word WE is weak

Reverse:
Maybe see small die crack between STATES and OF

1870 - F12 - Nice color - I guess you paid apx $38.00

Obverse:
Arrow tips and leaf tips show wear
Complete motto is visable but the words IN and WE is weak

Reverse:
Hard to tell but maybe die crack in STATES
Some sort of string or grey hair on UNITED

1871 - VF20 - Maybe cleaned ? - I guess you paid apx $50.00

Obverse:
Arrow tips and leaf tips show wear
Complete motto is visable but the word WE shows wear

Reverse:
Something going on with the N in UNITED

As you know, I am a beginner at this series and I am sure I missed a lot or seen some things that were not

Let me know how I did.
Out of the lot I like the 1866 the best

They are all beautiful coins....

Nice try Tpatna you missed a few things and made two big Grade mistakes but as you say you are still new to this series. The 68 is corroded Hence the red colour.
I will wait and see if anyone else wants to play before I add my comments on each coin.

Some helpful hints
the 1864 check the width of the rim and the denticals as they go around. Check the date against the one you have.
The 1866 is probably going to NCS to try and remove a the tiny corrosion spot on the OBV and the dark areas caused buy someones thumb
